CPR Sign Installation

Installation Instructions:

Thank you for purchasing your CPR Pool Sign! To ensure proper installation, please read the following instructions carefully.

Step 1: Clean and Prepare the Surface
Ensure that the surface where you want to place your sign is clean and free from dust, oil or any other surface contaminants. Note that some paints may contain teflon which can limit adhesion. Make sure to remove any debris or dirt from the surface.

Step 2: Level and Mount the Sign
Use a spirit level to ensure that your sign is level. For stand off or screw mounted signs, use appropriate fixings for the intended mounting surface. Plasterboard plugs plus screws are ideal if mounting on concrete. For aluminium signs, a secondary adhesive such as Liquid Nails may be used, which can be drilled through for application with holes. Reverse printed acrylic signs can be mounted using double-sided tape or a neutral cure silicon polyurethane adhesive. If holes are required, start with a smaller hole and work up to the final size, taking care not to crack the acrylic. Ideally, use a neutral cure silicon polyurethane adhesive to secure your sign. Avoid using solvent-based adhesive or general construction adhesives as these may damage the graphics.

Step 3: Enjoy your CPR Pool Sign
Once your CPR Pool Sign is securely installed, you can enjoy it for years to come. Keep in mind to check periodically that the sign remains in a sturdy condition and reinforces your pool safety rules.
